Marissa Langston shoots a 290 Aggregate for the Prep Team
Marissa Langston shoots a 290 Aggregate for the Prep Team Georgia Military College Prep Rifle Team hosted GHSA Area 4 Rifle Meet last evening against Laney High School of Augusta. The team shot an outstanding score of 1120 to Laney鈥檚 854. Marissa Langston was top shooter for GMC. She shot a 98 prone, 94 standing, 98 kneeling for a score of 290. If a shooter scores 290 or above in GHSA Riflery, they qualify to shoot as an individual at State. Jenna Bethea shot 93 prone, 93 standing, 96 kneeling for a 282. Analese Bridges shot 95 prone, 92 standing, 91 kneeling for a total of 278. Cameron Lowe shot 97 prone, 82 standing, 91 kneeling for a 270. Katie Lewis, shooting in her first match had a 90 prone, 73 standing and 87 kneeling for a 250. The undefeated team will travel to Jefferson, Ga. Thursday to compete against Jackson County High School.
